Hands-on workshops
Workshops take place on 2 and 3 July at ETSIADI. They require pre-registration, have limited capacity and each participant should review the requirements before attending.
The workshop starts from the basic elements of a microcontroller board and moves towards programming small automatic responses. It is designed for beginners without prior electronics or programming experience.
Requirements
What you will work on
The session covers loading medical data, using manual and semi-automatic tools, reviewing the model and exporting geometry for planning, teaching or digital fabrication.
Requirements
What you will work on
The workshop connects Amazonian ancestral knowledge with digital fabrication to create innovative and sustainable materials. Participants will explore natural fibres, textile techniques and the creation of a composite biomaterial.
Requirements
What you will work on
A practical introduction to documenting, verifying and fabricating electronic circuits with KiCad. The session covers the flow from schematic design to the files needed to produce a board.
Requirements
What you will work on
The session introduces robotic system definition, TCP tools, target generation and trajectory simulation. Advanced experience is not required, but a basic understanding of parametric algorithms in Grasshopper is recommended.
Requirements
What you will work on
Aimed at creatives, engineers and maker profiles, the workshop covers parametric modelling and file preparation for FabLab environments, 3D printing and laser cutting.

Complete workshop dossier
The dossier brings together the full information, contents, prerequisites and extended details for every workshop.
Visits
Three visits to see how experiences, prototypes and objects are made in professional settings around Valencia: advanced retail, shared industrial workshop and design-factory studio.
Acierta is an international design and production house specialising in advanced retail, brand spaces and physical experiences. From Valencia, it connects creativity, technical development, production, logistics and installation to turn demanding brand concepts into precisely built environments.

Generador Coworking works as a shared industrial workshop for projects that need to prototype, fabricate and test with real tools. Its model combines workspace, machinery and maker community so hardware, design and fabrication ideas can move from sketch to physical object.

Archicercle brings creative studio and factory together: it designs products, identities and spaces, then materialises them through laser cutting, CNC, 3D printing and manual processes. The visit shows how design judgement meets real materials, machines and finishes.

Exhibition opening
The exhibition brings together projects developed through digital fabrication and opens a transversal journey through architecture, design, engineering, health and education.
The display keeps its focus on the passage from bit to atom: prototypes, objects, processes, numerical control, 3D printing and new ways of thinking about matter.

Fantastik Lab
Fantastik Lab works as a place for production, knowledge, relationships and shared cultural activity. The opening places the exhibition in a context of visual culture, contemporary creation and local community.
Welcome drink
Alhambra beers and Casa LaCurra
Research projects and professional applications using digital fabrication technologies.
A creative setting in L'Olivereta prepared for exhibitions, cultural encounters and experimental work.
The opening includes drinks and catering to keep discussing the talks and exhibited pieces.
Social event
Thursday 2 July at 20:30. The gala dinner will take place at La Marítima, on level 0 of the Veles e Vents building, by La Marina de Valencia. The dinner is charged separately from registration.

Restaurante La Marítima · Veles e Vents Building · La Marina de Valencia
The dinner is set on Valencia’s waterfront, in an emblematic building overlooking the harbour. La Marítima combines Mediterranean cooking and local produce in a more relaxed setting to close the second day.
