For attendees
When and where is CREFAD 2026 held?
From 1 to 3 July 2026 at the Universitat Politècnica de València (UPV), Valencia, Spain.
In which languages is the congress held?
Spanish (main), Portuguese and English.
What does registration include?
Access to all keynotes and paper sessions, coffee breaks, participation in one workshop (pre-registration required), one daily visit (subject to availability), and a gift bag.
Are lunches included?
No. Lunches are not included in the registration fee.
Is the gala dinner included?
No. The gala dinner is charged separately. It takes place at Restaurante La Marítima; the cost will be announced soon.
What is the workshop capacity?
20 participants per workshop, unless otherwise indicated. Pre-registration required.
Is there a reduced fee for students?
Yes. Undergraduate students can register for €60 with valid 2025–26 enrolment.
For authors
What is the paper submission deadline?
11 May 2026.
In which languages can I submit my paper?
In Spanish, Portuguese or English.
How many words should the abstract have?
Maximum 200 words.
How long should the full paper be?
Between 5 and 20 pages.
What format should I use?
.docx format using the official Editorial UPV template, available in the Call for Papers section.
How are papers reviewed?
Through double-blind peer review, with 2 reviewers per paper.
Where are the proceedings published?
The proceedings are published open-access through Editorial UPV, with DOI and ISBN.
Are there awards for papers?
Yes. An award will be given in each of the six thematic areas during the gala dinner.
For sponsors
What sponsorship tiers are available?
Platinum (€3,000, max. 3), Gold (€1,000, max. 6), Silver (€600, max. 12) and Bronze (€300, max. 24).
What benefits does sponsorship include?
They vary by tier: signage and web presence, congress entries, stand, speaker dinner invitations, promotional materials and social media visibility.
